I pointed the camera around the house to do some creative imagery with what was at hand since almost constant rains had put shooting outside on hold. I decided to work with this teapot of carnations and see how many ways I could process the same image. Carnations always take me back to high school dances and corsages; they are simple sweet flowers. This is version one edited in Lightroom with a preset named vintage flair then finished with some levels adjustments along with cloning out the curtains that were behind the flowers using PSE.

Lovely photo, great use of depth of field.
Thank you very much. Going to see how many different looks I can get out of it.
Beautiful photo!
Thank you 🙂
Very nice….If the weather does not cooperate, you find another way. Cheers!
Have to keep clicking 😉
Just because the sun is in hiding, doesn’t mean we can bring its colors into the house. These carnations would brighten any room. Your photo sure lit up my screen! 🙂
Then I am very happy because of that. The teapot was a gift that I re-purposed as a little flower pot now that I try to fill often with color.
Love your skills!
Thanks you 🙂 Three more versions coming up!
Great work, Teri..I will take a look the rest 🙂
Thanks, Indah 🙂
