The day we visited the area I believe there was an art festival of some kind going on as well as plenty of vendors with their wares spread out on blankets for we tourists to buy. I didn’t purchase anything but I was tempted.

I much prefer these handmade trinkets to mass produced souvenirs. Tables would have made things easier for vendor and buyer alike. 😉
Tables would’ve been but I think it’s easier to just roll out and roll back up this way and you can get more vendors in.
Lots of the same in Santa Fe, also.
Yep! Ran into the same scenario when we went up there.
I admire your discipline, Teri. Usually, I start perusing the wares, resolved to look but not buy, At some point, however, I’ll buy some trinket that, in time, will end up in the drawer with other such trinkets. I’d donate them all to charity but opening that drawer unlocks plenty of good memories.
When we went elsewhere I ended up with three beaded bracelets 🙂
