Return to Maine – Around the Portland Head Lighthouse

Just a few shots from around the lighthouse and another of the lighthouse itself as the fog and rain came in.  I can only imagine how it looks now with snow being in the area as compared to when we were there in September.

  1. Lovely images. I am not sure if they have snow or not but it would make for an interesting image. Cheers!

  2. Very nice pics. I do like the fog…(Suzanne)

Rocky and wet! I love the lighthouse.

  4. Did the wind blow you apart? LOL…great shot.

I lived along Lake Michigan for several years and, though it’s no ocean coast, I loved walking along the water’s edge during the winter months. As beautiful as these captures are, Teri, I bet you really enjoy going back with your camera in, say, January. Well, given the right clothing, of course. 😉

  7. I love this photo! Rich colour, moody weather, the contrasts of water, rock and lighthouse!
