My son is an avid skateboarder. I have no idea how they do the things that they do!! They seem to get a bad rap, but he pairs his skating with being an honor student and taking college credit pre-calculus as a sophomore in high school.
Congrats on your wonderful son! I can’t even do ice skates let alone something like this 😉

Just being around teenagers makes me feel old now. Watching them at a skatepark — which I love to do — makes me feel downright ancient. I have no idea how they do practically everything that they do. Well, there is the falling. I do understand that part all too well.
And I understand 110% the not wanting to fall! I’ve broken a couple of bones and that is enough for me.
