I’m not totally back yet but I wanted to pop in and share this little photo my sister in law took of me with my new friend whom I named Morty. Morty the Blue Morpho Butterfly. We hung out for awhile together and then he had to flutter off. One Christmas decoration remains outside in the snow and cold and frankly because of the snow and cold it is going to stay out there for awhile! Most of the decorations inside are back in storage except for the tree. Half of the ornaments on it have been packed up and I just look at the rest and give a big sigh…
I probably won’t be back up to full blogging speed until next week when I will tell you where Morty and I were and more 😉

He was a sweetie. Stayed right there for quite some time even as I walked around.

That butterfly is stunning… and so big!
The Blue Morpho is a pretty big butterfly and most of the time when you see it it’s wings are folded showing the brown underside. Morty liked me enough to open up and show off 🙂
