This is one of the orchids at the show that had a wonderful fragrance although some would say the one orchid species that smells like chocolate wins the prize.

Simply beautiful. 💕
Thank you so much, Dina 🙂
Magenta!
Let’s do the time warp again???
Beautiful and smells like chocolate. That is a win-win. 😃
This one wasn’t the chocolate one. That orchid had much tinier blooms and darker petals. Still a win-win for some 🙂
Chocolate is always a win for me. 😉
Beautiful photograph!
Thank you!
Not all orchids are sweet smelling, I’m afraid. Quite a few years ago, I had an Oncidium orchid and was very happy to see it send up 3 or 4 sprays that first year — and then the buds opened. My home stunk to high heaven. Who knew such pretty little flowers could be so pungent? I trimmed off the blossoms and gave the plant to a friend that lived in Florida. He placed it in his yard where its could blooms could be enjoyed — from a distance. 🙂
Sounds like it was a cousin to that corpse flower 😉
The macro queen strikes again – perfection!
And we thank you! 🙂
Just the bright spot needed as we await Spring…
Spring is teasing us with one step forward two steps back. Thanks
A frosty few steps back this weekend…
That is a beautiful shot!
Thank you 🙂
Chocolate! Whoa!
Gorgeous bloom you captured so well!
Thanks 🙂
Wow so pretty and just when I thought spring had sprung – winter made a repeat appearance this weekend!
Yeah tell me about it 😦
