Made my first of probably many trips to the rose park but got there a little too late; sun was getting closer to being directly overhead. So I start meandering through the park looking for roses in shade when I hear a guitar playing. That’s a first. I was ready to call it day as, besides the light becoming harsher, they were beginning to mow, had been spraying rose pesticide and a big chunk of the park had the sprinklers going. And then…
I hear the guitar AND a saxophone. This needed to be investigated! Nature photography turned into street photography which then morphed into me becoming the girl singer in the group. Serendipity made for a greater time in the park than I would ever have imagined. Here’s a teaser shot; more about the jam session later. Have a great weekend.
Ob-la-de, o-bla-da life goes on… 🙂
Good thing you can sing. I’d clear the area if I sang with the band.
We’d let you do the hand clapping 🙂
I’m a very good palmero — Stomp! Clap! Clap clap! Clap clap! “Orale!” Repeat.
There ya go!
Oooo. Unexpected happenings like this always make my day. Cheers
Thanks! It’s when we got into the improv that I had to think fast 🙂
Fun and happiness when you least expect it!
Amazing what happens sometimes when you aren’t too shy 😉
