Today starts the beginning of the annual Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque, New Mexico. If you’ve never been then you definitely should put it on your list of things to see. Last year this time I was anxiously getting ready to attend the event and to meet a fellow blogger out there. It runs from the 7th to the 15th of October this year and is an event where I learned, besides all things balloon, just how cold it can get in the desert until the sun comes up – brrrrr.
I will be posting some memories from the fiesta in the upcoming days between finishing the photo safari posts. Have a great weekend and if you are participating today in Scott Kelby’s Worldwide Photowalk, happy walking and shooting!
We had our first hard frost this morning. Good for flight, cold for the balloon crews.
I remember those cold mornings too well!
