This little one seemed so familiar but as he stayed with his wings closed I’m not sure. That’s the thing about identifying butterflies when you aren’t an expert. The sides of their wings don’t always match. I’m guessing this could either be a Small Postman (do like that name) or a Brown Longwing.
Any guesses?

There are so many different butterflies, I could/t even begin to guess. Someone needs to develop an App, where you can photograph a butterfly and get an instant answer. 🙂
I’m surprised there isn’t one considering they have apps for nearly any and everything else. Good idea!
