Walking into 2018 on the planet Hoth

While not quite the planet Hoth, the top of the dam here at Alum Creek Park is a pretty good substitute for the ice planet of Star Wars fame right now.  Snow and ice are everywhere (at least until the thaw, whenever that might be) as are sledders, snow boarders, snowmobiles, ice fishermen and one guy waking off with some skis.  Fortunately there were no wampas about.

Have a safe and happy New Year’s eve (or have a good celebration recovery if you live where it is now next year) and may 2018 be kind to us all.

Until next year – Teri
