As I write this post it is currently -8 degrees Fahrenheit here in central Ohio. A bit nippy! We were driving around looking at the snowy landscape when we drove past (twice, I made DH turn around so I could get this shot from the Jeep window) this group of men ice fishing.
It hasn’t been that long ago that there were boats and jet skis on this same body of water at the Alum Creek Dam reservoir. Wonder if they caught anything?
That’s cold. Those folks must really like fishing. I don’t fish even in warm temps.
I wouldn’t even attempt to put one toe on the ice let alone fish!
I remember going ice fishing when I was a kid living in northern Minnesota. Hundreds of cars out on the ice. I can’t imagine it now.
Wow! Cars on the ice? I won’t even attempt to walk on it.
I like to hear about the big piece of ice that got away.
I actually checked the news that evening to see if there were any accidents that day… none thankfully.
If you dress for the occasion it is not bad at all.
