Because it was the second full moon in a month that made it a blue. Because there was a lunar eclipse that made it a blood moon. Because it was incredibly cloudy last night and towards the dawn that made it a very difficult to photograph super blue moon for me but unfortunately no blood moon.
I tried….. Teri 📷
Moon is missing in Singapore haha. It was supposed to be a blue blood moon at 8.55pm. But I could not find the moon. Sigh.
You got cloudy skies too, huh?
Yes indeed. Could not find the moon🤔
Awwwww 😦
Nice vampire moon – snorts and oinks. XOXO – Count Bacon
Or werewolf… remember to stay on the path, Count Bacon 🙂
Most certainly… .come closer sweet friend. There’s a little something on your dear neck I need to get off for you…. ❤ XOXO – Bacon
Naughty oinker!
We had cloudy skies too. It would have been fun to see.
I really wanted to see the blood moon. I think I may have seen a partial one once and it was spectacular but this one was a total… and a total miss for me 😦
I have never been able to get a good shot of the moon. Kudos to you!
Practice, grasshopper, practice…. and thanks 🙂
Haha, or maybe better lens too. I don’t have a DSLR. Thought of getting one but those things are so technical.
I checked twice and just saw a bright, full moon – it wasn’t super, blue, red or eclipsed – so disappointed!
According to the astronomy boffins, it was a super moon and it was blue only because it was the second full moon in the same month. The eclipsed part and red did happen but not for me; that happened at the very crack of before dawn.
That’s what I mean, I’m usually up around 5-5:30 am and then looked again at 7, but nothing unusual to see.
Some of us got to see it while others looked up and went… I see nothing 😦
It looks amazing and even more mysterious…
Thanks! It reminds me of a scene from a movie where something is about to happen… 🙂
We had a blast up on top of the mountain viewing !!! Come out here!!!!!!
Just rub it in why dontcha? lol I so would’ve been in my element.
Miss ya!!
Miss you too! Hugs…
Same here, Teri. We saw half of the eclipse, then it became mostly cloudy.
But, hey! We were there, we were ready, and we did our best.
Same with the solar eclipse last August. Always a crap shoot.
Cheerz anyway! 🙂 UT
Fortunately for the solar eclipse last year we were in a perfect spot to see it all without any problems other than it being soooo hot! Tonight the sky has more ideal conditions – grrrrr! Such is life, huh UT? 🙂
Yup! Sometimes you’re the window, sometimes you’re the stump.
That’s still an awesome shot.
Thanks. I like it too.
A for effort. It’s the same here. Cheers
Gracias, Senor Calle 😉
