Time and events march on

The orchid show is gone but the butterfly exhibit is coming to the Franklin Park Conservatory any minute now.

But this weekend (besides getting our internal clocks rattled a bit from Daylight Savings Time) is all about DH as it’s his birthday weekend.  So I’m going to do my level best to let it be all about him which won’t be too difficult; he deserves the pampering or at least all the meat he can eat at the Brazilian restaurant we are going to… and then a good nap ♥

Happy Birthday DH! We have a Brazilian meat fest restaurant here. I’ve been to it a couple of times, but they were quite annoying each time I was there coming around with lots more spits of chicken gizzards, chicken hearts and other chicken parts than red meat. I was like “Where’s the beef?” I hope your local meat feast will include more offers of meaty meat for DH’s birthday celebration.

    • Thanks, Tim. They try to fill you up on the salad bar and chicken before the good stuff – we don’t fall for it! I’m a lamb and lamb chop person and he is sausage and beef beef beef! We’ve learned to just ask out server to send us the cuts we want and they oblige and then we stuff 🙂

We asked the server for beef, and he just disappeared. The other thing I don’t like about our Brazilian meat fest is the place is super noisy. Probably another tactic to get people to leave without eating a lot of beef.
