I love visiting the North Market in Columbus, Ohio. The sights, the sounds, the aromas and of course the great eats. You can buy food to make your own dinner at home with selections from meat, wine, seafood, fruits and veggies and pastas. And if you aren’t in a cooking mood then there are food areas where, if you are lucky to find a stool to sit on, you can eat at a counter or purchase your food and go upstairs or outside to eat.
Your dining choices include Indian, a deli, Polish, sushi, Mexican and Vietnamese to name a few. The pretzel place always gets me… always!

Farm markets truly are too much fun!
Oh and this one most certainly is!
Nothing makes me happiest than seeing fresh fruits all laid out for sale. Maybe it is a female thing as I love to go grocery shopping even if it was to window shop but I never walk out of a supermarket without an item(s). I miss the farm markets of USA and Australia as there is so much fresh produce to browse and choose from as compared to the “wet markets” we have in Singapore. “Wet” because the floors are always wet from the melted ice on fish and how the stall owners keep the floors wet. Perhaps to a foreigner, this is exciting as it is “raw” and unique to us here. 🙂
While I’m not so sure how “farmer” the market is on the inside as it is the same year round; like a one stop market for a lot of your needs but on weekends especially when the weather is nicer farmers do sell their wares outside. I like fresh produce and breads myself. Seems much more natural to me.
You had mom at pretzels – slightly soft and salty – yummo! XOXO – Bacon
The store here sells them in different flavors! Oh yumm 🙂
That would be so awesome right about now. I hear mom’s tummy growling for food. XOXO – Bacon
I love fresh food and farmers markets. Always great variety and choice.
And great people watching/street photography 🙂
