Our first night was spent in Oban, Scotland but we stopped at a few places on our way there. One of those places was the beautiful Arduaine Gardens on the Argyll coast outside of Oban.
There were so many beautiful trees, flowers and plants like azaleas, bluebells, bleeding hearts, ferns and more. You could easily drift away with the fairies in these gardens.
Can you find the wee little bee here?
The gardens let me check off one item on my must see in Scotland list as well – a Highland Cow or hairy coo.

I’ve tried to grow bleeding hearts here. It’s way too dry. A lot of beautiful greenery.
And not all of it had bloomed yet. I was surprised by the number of azaleas all over the highlands. Thanks, Tim.
The climate of the British Isles lends itself well to growing so many beautiful things. And to hairy cows…Wow. Cheers!
I was amazed by what all was growing here and everywhere else we went. And the hairy coos are wonderful 🙂
I love the hairy coo! They look soo adorable ❤
They are adorable in their own hairy way 🙂
So beautiful my friend. What an awesome trip you had! XOXO – Bacon
Thank you! I have sooooooooo much more to share that I will get to as soon as I can 🙂
Reminds me of my road trip through scotland; it is indeed an amazing place. Lovely post!
Thank you. I wish I could go right back 🙂
