Heading north on the A87 after having left the beautiful sights around Sligachan we stopped at a pullover area to take in this view of Uig Bay which is nestled on Loch Snizort which leads to the Sea of the Hebrides and on to the Atlantic Ocean.
How would you like to camp out there?

Such a beautiful sea!!
Thank you π
Nice Skyeline.
The pain of the pun!
Camp? Is there a chimney available? (Looks cooooold!) π
This day it was in the low 70’s but right about now I’d say brrrrrrrrrrr
I would second that motion. One of the coldest Easters I ever spent was in Dublin. We were staying at an old Irish friend’s house. They barely heat the place! We practically slept with our clothes on. π
Fortunately I’ve not been anywhere that cold other than NYC on NYE… that was a bit chilly but not in the hotel π
New York can be darn cold. But they have good heating. π
That they do! But conversely some spots in Scotland are not equipped for higher temps as in no AC or even a fan to borrow. Just open the window and wait.
I can imagine. π Just like Mexico is not equipped for the cold. Winters are freezing here…
I would never have thought so.
Well, supposedly, it is a “warm” country. But in Mexico city (6,000 ft+ high), nights can be fresh around November-January. And there is barely any central heating anywhere. I’m thinking of installing one. π
