While walking through one of our big local parks I noticed something flying towards me out of the corner of my eye. I thought it was going to fly right over my head when it stopped in a tree right above me to say hello and pose.
Venturing on, as we were standing on a bridge across a stream watching the autumn leaves float by like little boats, we heard the strangest scraping type noise. It took us awhile to find the source of the racket which turned out to be a squirrel working hard at something to eat or store for the season. No little acorn for this guy. He was going for a walnut!

Looks like a Cooper’s Hawk, but I can’t say for sure.
I believe you are correct.
Too often we don’t take a moment to appreciate what is surrounding us… good job ❤️
Thanks and part of photography is looking around you to see 🙂
Love the title of this post!
Thanks!
I agree … a great title … and post! How nice of these critters to say hello and pose for you!
Thank you and I thanked them for posing.
