Outside of the Oculus

I wish I had brought a wider lens with me than the 24mm these images were shot with but then again New York has very big and very tall buildings so you do the best you can.  While the outside of the Oculus is such an unique piece of architecture that really stands out in the architectural crowd, I preferred the lines of the building on the inside and not just because of the restaurants and shopping 😉

You can see part of One World Trade behind it and next to that is the memorial which is quite moving.  Years ago on my very first visit to New York City with a Nikon EM in hand, I went to the top of the World Trade Center and took some photos.  Next I will show you what I captured with a Sony mirrorless camera from the 360° observatory at the top of One World Trade Center.
