(We are coming down to the end of the year and it seems as though everything needs to be done almost immediately. Therefore I am going through my backlog of posts that have been in the holding area to fill in the gaps between posting newer items.)
It varies. Take these two works of art for example that are right across the street from one another. This one is a painted wall mural located on the side of the Land Grant Brew Co.
And this is a metal sign on a metal barn which serves as an art studio. What’s interesting about this is that the artist, Andrew Lundberg, used to live onsite in an airstream trailer next to the barn. The trailer is still there as part of his studio but he lives elsewhere now.
The Franklinton art scene is alive and thriving and so much fun to visit.

That’s one cool sign. Cheers
Artists of all kinds me have here 🙂
Sounds like there’s a nice variety of art there. Plenty to keep the camera busy? 🙂
The art scene here is amazing and right in the middle of it is a college of art and design. It just spreads out from there and things are always chaning.
Franklington speaking, Franklington’s art scene sounds cool. There was a time about 25 to 30 years ago that living in Airstream trailers was all the rage.
I thought folks only traveled in those things not live in them. And the art scene here is way cool.
