The phalaenopsis orchid may be the most popular and well recognized species of orchid; at least I think so. When someone has an orchid plant in their home or office this is usually the one they have and you can see why here.

Amazing to see orchids in your neck of the woods! We have a lot of orchids in our Orchid Garden in the middle of Botanical Gardens here. Nice photos and thanks for the share. So nice to see orchids (which I think could have originated from Singapore as we seems to be world exporters with major share)
We have orchid shows and growers in many parts of the United States. This show is an annual one that has been going on for longer than I’ve lived here.
