Duck season! Rabbit season! Exploring new areas season! I don’t recall where this stop was on the Thelma, Louise and Louise tour but I was surprised by the wealth of reeds and water in this part of the Arizonan desert.
And that’s when the old classic Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck routine came to mind. It will be so nice when things turn green here in Ohio again.ย Has spring come to your neck of the woods yet?

Foliage and rock always is a good combination, and these are especially pleasing. Do you happen to know whether the “channel” was made by humans or creatures? I’m always interested in the various pathways to water that show up.
As for spring? Here on the Texas coast (and even inland) it’s in full bloom: trees, shrubs, wildflowers. It’s getting hard to keep up with the new species that are making an appearance each day.
I think the channel was man made; would hate to see an animal around there big enough to make such a path! Texas in full bloom.; I’ve always wanted to see the bluebells. One of these days Ohio will get the memo about spring. Thank you for stopping by.
Nice desert with water shots.
And picnic and hiking areas to boot! Thanks, Tim.
Does it make you feel better that itโs raining here today… and tomorrow.
Pretty shots!
Yes! Yes it does ๐ But that means more green and flowers for you guys later and rain our way in a couple days. Do you remember where we were here? It was our first stop where you talked to the woman doing the weeding.
That was along the Salt River. You are better off asking Ingrid. That was all new territory for me.
That Salt River covers a lot of ground!
FYI โฆ first stop ๐ Brought to you by, Louise number one (or was I number two? ๐)
You are Louise #1… so where were we here? ๐
We were just off Bush Hwy between Power Road and Usery Road along the Salt River and then we drove up to Saguaro Lake. Coon Picnic area is where the guy told us where to see the wild horses. You can find it all on Google maps.
Why use Google maps when I have you ๐
In my next post, I’m adding a map just for you ๐
Thanks.
Now who would have thought thi is possible in a desert!
I know, right! ๐

There is no spring in Poland yet. The earth was covered with snow yesterday. Today, less snow, but a cool wind is blowing. I saw snowdrops in my garden, spring is coming.
greetings
We still have snow that was plowed into mounds here but it is melting – yippee! But no flowers yet. Maybe I need to look around better. Greeting to you ๐
The red rocks are beautiful, surrounded by greenery.

Thank you. The contrast is quite appealing.
Love Bugs and Daffy. Yes, we finally hit spring down south. Next week will start summer.
We are in the “see what it looks like THIS morning” season.
I looking for wabbits…
Didn’t see any wabbits but I did see coots!
Nice framing!
Thanks ๐
