In three different time zones, in the cold and in the warmth, nearly knocked over by high winds, at an elevation of 9600 feet with snow around me and caught in the rain high on a mountain. I was photographing something amazing for the first time ever at 3:30 in the morning in nearly pitch black conditions. I stood in a cool stream which my feet liked after having done some serious hiking while partially covered in red dirt/sand.
I ate entirely too much of some fantastic food including the best pancakes I’ve ever had in my life, huckleberry ice cream and a pizza that was truth in advertising when it said the amount of toppings one would get. Oh that thing was good!
There were some great photos and some how did I mess this one up photos but with each one I learned. I met a lot of great people from all over the place while crossing off some bucket list items… and I want to go back and do it again!
So where and what was this all about? If you follow me on Instagram @imagesbytd then you already know and if so – shhhhhhhhh! No spoilers please! I shall leave the rest of you guessing as I try to get settled back home again. There will be plenty more pictures soon. And Happy Mother’s Day too ♥

Can’t wait to hear all about your trip. Did it meet your expectations and did the scenery blow your mind? Inquiring minds want to know!
It exceeded any expectations I had and you’d be so proud of the hiking I did! Still not up to your level but improving.
Oh, I don’t think you’re far behind me. I’ve just had more practice. Just wait … I’m gonna get you out RVing yet.
We were thinking about it! Also we discussed the where you guys are going to be later this summer and it could be a go! 🙂
Awesome! You and I will need to do a little coordinating. 😀
Hmmm…the plot thickens
What? No guesses?
I’ve never been good at whodunnits.
I bet you had a blast!
Oh we did! We did! Want to go again 🙂
Looking forward to seeing the evidence.
No guesses from you either? Awww c’mon!
