This weekend is our wedding anniversary and as we’ve just returned from our Utah road trip I have no idea what we may be doing but I’m sure we will come up with something even if it’s just puttering in the garden. Life is like that, puttering in the garden, when you’ve been married for awhile.
Lavender roses were what was carried and worn for our wedding and this lilac bush that was growing outside of a nature center in Fruita, Utah in the Capitol Reef National Park reminds me of my bouquet. While it had a lovely fragrance, there was another bush in the park that had everyone sniffing and going ahhhhhhhhhh! The thing smelled just like perfume and you didn’t even have to be that close to it to catch a whiff. Will share it with you later.
