Graffiti has grown from being a nuisance (well, in some cases it still is) to being amazing and even commissioned art on buildings. Some of these artists and their creations are just astounding too! I love discovering new wall art in the city or in any city I visit. In this case the mural was on the side of a building facing a parking lot but I decided to just focus on capturing one bit of it and not the entire wall.
Why? Because this part of the image made me immediately think of a popular “ear worm” that was used for some mobile phone advertisement a few years ago. I even had the song as a ring tone for awhile and after I took this photo I began to sing the song. Well, just the first couple of lines of it.

Here is the original little music video. Warning! Some of the lyrics are just a tiny bit suggestive. Believe it or not, there’s even a kid friendly version of this.
Nice one. I think there is a distinction between street art and tags. I do enjoy street art in those large murals on buildings that are very artistic and gives colours to a city but tags is mostly a nuisance. (Suzanne)
I agree with you, Suzanne. Tagging is a nuisance even if some of it is a bit creative but this kind of art is beautiful.
Gnarly looking Narwhales.
With a bit of attitude!
