One reader almost got it!

One reader (Katie over at Kate’s Insights) guessed two states one of which is the correct one.  So let’s try this one more time shall we?  I know you can do it and let’s see who gets there first.  Sorry no guessing prize to give but you get the rights of being first to guess.

We were in a state where wildflowers were still blooming and there was an abundance of life.

Where there were a lot of pine trees – a lot – and oh how wonderful they smelled!  And some snow still on the ground.  Mind you the snow was way up there but up there where one could actually touch the snow, even though I think that was frowned upon.

And you can drive on a scenic byway that will take you through different temperatures from warm to cold and back again, above the tree line, on some stretches that twist and turn and are not for the faint of heart but with views and hikes that will take your breath away – literally and figuratively!

Now where were we?  C’mon I know you can do it!

You hadn’t been to Colorado? I guess it would be more surprising if I hadn’t been to Colorado.

  3. We’re not in Kansas anymore, Toto. Nice pics.

Where were you? North of the Mason-Dixon line. 🙂

I was going to guess moose hunting in Alabama 🤣🤣🤣 considering I really knew where you went! Glad you enjoyed your Colorado visit. I’m sure you can’t wait to go back.
