Summer that is… I am going to miss summer. But as we still have about two weeks of it left to go, I shall enjoy it as much as I can. While looking forward to wearing sweatshirts and hoodies (I have quite the collection of them) I will miss wearing some summer things like sandals and my straw hats.
But what I will miss the most, besides longer days and sunshine, will be the flowers. The flowers of spring and summer bring me such joy and I look forward to them each and every year. Maybe I will do what I saw a YouTube photographer say “Photos do nothing for you or anyone if they remain on a card or your computer. Print them as prints or in a book and let them be seen!”
Not quite sure what kind of wildflower this is around Mud Lake in Colorado but I like it. Do you know what it is? Hey wait a minute! Is that a tick on the flower? Yuck!

I am so ready for cooler temps, it’s been a hot spring and summer here in Florida.
It’s been a bit sticky around here too and I am just about ready for cooler temps… just not cold ones!
