The Peninsula Hotel advertises itself as an ultimate 5 star luxury hotel in New York. It does have quite a prime location on 5th Avenue with Central Park and all of the high end shops within walking distance. I could only afford to take photos of their fantastic decorations.
Not sure if this adds to the ultimate luxury tag or not for it but when I stood on the entry steps to take the prior photo (see the black and white image previously posted) I was nice and toasty from the heat lamps that were overhead in the portico. No other store or hotel I happened upon had such a warm welcome – so to speak.
All along 5th Avenue or maybe Macy’s windows next. Stay tuned!
