I’ve been to some of those abandoned places! The Cleveland subway/train… long ago and Chippewa Lake Amusement Park. Rusty and lots of vines on the old roller coaster.

Werid, I would have thought this was not common in the US. It is very common here in Mexico, because of heritage laws. I would have thought the US would tear things down rapidly to build something new… 🙂
It’s more common than you think. There are a lot of historical societies here in the states that are quite bent on saving old sites. Sometimes they save one sometimes capitalism and new condos and malls win.
Yeah, malls. That is a thing I dislike… 😉
