Mangoes are a chore to get all the flesh from that big crazy seed inside but it is so worth it in the end! The best mango I ever had was in Jamaica and it was fresh off a tree. Fruit and any other food fresh from the source always tastes best in my opinion.
I love mangoes in margaritas, salads, salsa (oh my goodness yes!) and of course just by themselves. Here’s a trivia question for you: What James Bond movie has a song sung in it about mangoes?
