I believe that when people imagine a tulip it’s a red one that probably comes to mind first. In art class in elementary school when we were instructed to draw our spiky topped tulips (that was the shape we youngsters drew them as) we always colored them red. Were you like that too?
Knee deep in flowers we’ll stray
We’ll keep the showers away…

Yes! When we had to draw flowers, I always drew tuips because they were so easy.
Tulips and daisies were always the easy ones 🙂
I had red, yellow and pink as those are my favorite colors!
Very cool, Nancy!
Pretty.
Thanks, Tim.
Hmmm. Come to think of it tulips and daisies are the easiest flowers to draw…
Now did I paint them red? Not sure. Actually if I think tulip I probably think yellow…
(Lived in Holland for 2 years. Many shades of tulips.) 🌷
Todo bien por allá?
Now seeing the tulips in Holland would be a dream come true for this photographer. Es bien aqui, gracias, y tu?
Ahí vamos. Los hospitales ya están atascados… I don’t think we’ve seen the peak yet. Neither has the US, right?
Cuídate.
Oh no! Cuidate, amigo!! Not sure with the peak in the US but states are beginning to re-open bit by bit which is both good and scary. We shall see
Yes we shall.

Yes, it’s just the natural order of Nature. Tulips are red. Any other colour and I would struggle to recognise it. 🙂
And the shapes have changed too so you would be in quite a quandry 🙂
