It was around 7 in the morning and we were driving off to hunt for the elusive wood duck! But on the way there we passed a stretch of land where the morning mist was floating above the wet grass.
Of course I made DH stop for this!
Fortunately, as it was still very early, there was no traffic around to interfere with me rolling down the window and leaning out of the Jeep to get this shot of trees surrounded by mist with the sunrise of a new day glowing behind.
On a side note… can anyone name the song that I took inspiration from for the title of this post?
