And I don’t mean in the world (or perhaps I do) but more so what’s been going on around my end of the internet. Watched a grandchild open her birthday gift on Zoom (on one hand that was sad but on the other she is into collecting vinyl records now. I am so good for presents for her for awhile!) got a shot of the comet but missed capturing any of the meteor shower.
Can’t win them all, there will be others.
Finally went to see a doctor about a health issue I’ve been ignoring. Considering not keeping my dentist appointment because, well, it’s a dentist!!! Sorry but not sorry if you happen to be one. Have been wearing long sleeves since my forearms got sunburned – ouch! And I need to attend a Texas Roadhouse rolls over eaters anonymous meeting.
Oh those things are so darn good!
Lately I’ve found that if I looked, stumbled upon, spoke with people or got emails from friend, there are plenty of places to visit that aren’t any further than an hour away from home. Oh! And this past weekend I “attended” Sony Kando Everywhere online. It was a great fun experience and far far less expensive (like stay in my office in pj’s and eat delivery food less expensive) than if I had been able to go to Idaho for it.
One of the places I recently visited you can read more about on my What’s Happening Ohio blog. I might actually go back there, providing the weather plays nicely. Just look at what I got to walk around in and photograph.
Sometimes you just have to reach for that shot! Glad the camera has a tilt out screen.
Have you done anything new and fun lately?

That sunflowers colour is so nice, I always thought sunflowers are only yellow, stupid me 🙂
No no no! Nothing stupid about it. I learned there were other colors and shapes as well. Hope you take a look at the other blog to see them.
I most certainly will ☺️
Gorgeous color on that sunflower! And sunflower fields are spectacular!
As for me… boating, walking and visiting with my sons! Love every minute!
Thankful for modern technology but nothing beats a real live face covered in crumbs kiss from a 3 yo. Sunflower fields are wonderful aren’t they?
Sunflowers just say “smile”. Love the last shot … you in your element – out and about with your camera.😎
I’m just glad I was at the end of the field with the shorter sunflowers. They had some well over 6 feet tall!
You could disappear in those fields!😱
Have not done anything much lately, but will, on the next three Wednesdays, visit 3 state parks close by. Am really looking forward to that.
Take care, and stay healthy,
Pit
Road trips!!!! Very cool. I am sure they will be fun. You take care and stay healthy too!
Shooting over the tops of sunflowers is not easy. It sounds like most things are going well. That’s cool your grandaughter likes vinyl.
You would’ve managed it well as tall as you are 😉 I told her for every LP I get for her she likes I’m throwing in a classic I like hehehe!!! Her mother said “If you don’t like it just play it loud enough for us! We’ll enjoy it!”
