More ducks! Not wood ducks though; till searching for Mr. Wood Duck but today was ducky nonetheless. While out looking for some other elusive birds (and we kind of hit the jackpot with a couple; will share later) we stopped at one of our favorite spots for many other types of photography. Just as we were focusing on some other birds, this group came flying through.
Let me tell you, ducks can fly fast! Even at 1/2000 of a second I didn’t catch them as clearly as I would’ve liked but then again they caught me off guard as I swung my lens from aiming at the sky to lower and horizontal. This image isn’t of them in the sky – they are flying low over water that was reflecting the beautiful sunny sky at the moment.
Here’s to a ducky week for us all!
(By the way, anyone know what kind of ducks these are?)
