This squirrel – definitely not me right now! First let me explain the squirrel. We were up by Lake Erie attending our very first Warbler Migration event in mid May (do I have lots of photos to share as soon as I can!) when, while walking towards the Magee Marsh Boardwalk, I heard a noise.

Hoping it was a warbler, I looked up to see this squirrel as laid back and nonchalant as he wanted to be. He wasn’t caring about a thing! I should’ve asked him his secret for being so calm because since then….
I found that a lot of my notifications and comments from you all were somehow being marked as spam and in that folder which I don’t check often enough. There were a couple of events I covered as things are opening more here. And for the past few weeks I have been getting prepared for a big art event that will be held at the Columbus Museum of Art here in Ohio on July 2nd. I will be showing five of my photos (nature themed) along with other artists of various genres.
It’s like getting the band back together as there will be several artist friends of mine showing their work too that I haven’t seen since 2019. That has been taking up a lot of my time as I want to show my best of the best. But Murphy and his law just had to go stick his nose into things! My car is in the shop and they are hinting at it being maybe possibly sorta kinda related to the transmission.
And to add to the mix, I had a nasty allergic reaction to something this past weekend (food, contact, insect, something) that sent me to the doctors office and on more medication than I’ve been on in years. Yeah, I was/am puffy, swollen, red and itchy and now a bit loopy from Benadryl; the only thing that is allowing me to sleep without discomfort for the moment.
My apologies for not being around much or responding to your posts. I’m trying to stay afloat here and need to work on improving my time management or at least get more recuperative rest. Maybe add bug spray to that too!
Cya when I can – Teri
Hope you are feeling better now.

Weaning myself off the Benadryl so I’m actually a bit more lucid for the weekend. Thanks π

He was a chill cutie! Thanks, Belinda.
Wish I get a laid back squirrel to practice some photography.
And wish you recover soon, providing you ample time at hand for the upcoming art event.
We had quite the conversation and he never moved from this position! Thank you and I am improving. Doctor thinks a spider got to me π¦
