Muggy Monday

Last week this time it was very warm, sunny and dry. This past weekend was so very much the opposite. In some parts of the Midwest there were severe storms, I believe part of a hurricane is dumping lots of rain up the east coast and here in Ohio we still have gray skies and high humidity…on top of the rain.

And then you have in the western part of the country high heat with little rain. I think we can all relate to this sparrow who got caught in the rain; if not with the weather then in the look on its face. We are not exactly amused with Mother Nature’s machinations.

This was the rain coming down on the evergreen trees in our back yard. The rain didn’t do a thing for the humidity other than make it thicker. Stay safe and comfortable wherever you are and whatever weather you may be having.

I hear ya! Where is the sun? And we have started building an Arc.
And we also are building a rain water pipeline to send to the southwest!

  4. Great photo of a disgruntled looking sparrow 😊

That sparrow looks unhappy – must be unhappy at the wet weather LOL! I love how you aptly capture their emotions to show us.

I love that little sparrow! I’ll gladly take some of that rain, Teri! It’s bone dry here!
