Still asking for the Grey Poupon

Here we have the 1949 Rolls Royce and 1937 Bentley in color – which considering their color scheme is still almost monochromatic – but oh that silver and chrome is gorgeous and very shiny from the efforts of their respective owners.

Both vehicles were made in England and eventually made their way to the United States in the 1970’s after passing through a few owners. The Rolls was once owned by entertainer Red Skelton.

If you look at the front grill and lights of both vehicles you will see some similarities and a few minor differences. I’m guessing this is because when the great depression sent Bentley Motors into receivership, Rolls purchased them. In 1971 Rolls Royce was liquidated due to mismanagement and is now owned by BMW and Bentley is owned by Volkswagen.
