The camera gave me an incredible freedom. It gave me the ability to parade through the world and look at people and things very, very closely. Carrie Mae Weems

The turkey needs to “duck duck go”. Nice photo but the birds have to have “web” feet to be browsers. That’s a excellent photo with the Blue Wing Teal. Woody looks pensive.
Thanks, Tim. I was thrilled when the Teal broke off from the flock for this image. Woody had something in his mouth and was debating about what to do with it.
Beautiful photos, and a great feeling for me on Thanksgiving ~ growing up there was always the duck hunt that morning. Such beautiful birds, mallards and teals my favorite and while I was not at home this year I did manage to have a nice duck dinner at a local restaurant 🙂 Cheers to you and a great holiday season ahead.
Thank you and while out photographing some birds I came upon some duck hunters that showed me their haul for the day. It was a bit disturbing but they were going to put them in their freezer for winter meals. And it taught me how to identify some ducks – that’s a bit weird but yeah! LOL Have a great rest of the year.

Happy Thnaksgiving to you, too!
Thanks! Hope you have a Texas sized meal.
Happy Thanksgiving!
