Just hanging with the Fat Man, Snoop and my Gnomies 😉 This was one of the many beautiful window displays on Main Street in Historic Downtown St. Charles, Missouri. Actually, the shops on this street always have great displays – they just go all out for Christmas.
I’m rather fond of the naughty gnome myself; wonder what he did to be naughty? Will be taking you on a tour of Main Street and the Christmas Traditions next week. Have a great weekend… be it naughty or nice. I won’t tell Santa.

Is your family ok? I see that St. Charles County was hit — what a terrible, terrible thing. I’ve not yet explored to see how much damage there was in St. Charles proper, but I’m thinking of you.
Thank you so much for asking. Spoke with the 5yo and his mommy this morning and other than lots of wind they are fine, it didn’t hit their area. Still trying to reach a friend in Edwardsville though 😦
Thanks for such a quick reply. I hope your friend is all right, too. Communication can be a real problem in situations like this. I’ll admit that tornadoes scare me more than hurricanes, since you can get away from a hurricane. This was a bad one.
When I lived in Missouri I experienced a tornado or two or three. They really do sound like a train coming down the street! You learn the signs and where to hide in your house and to have good flashlights. It’s the power outages I hate.
