St. Charles Christmas Traditions Part 4: Puppy Power

While the majority of the humans were either milling about or getting a good spot from which to view the soon to come parade, others were walking along with their dogs. Most of the dogs in attendance had some sort of holiday clothing placed on them by their humans.

I wonder what these dog were thinking about the clothing they were in… especially the Basset Hound. Bet he’s thinking “I better get a treat for wearing this hat!”

This little lady – a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel – had her own private viewing box for the parade.

This tough guy was not having any holiday clothing or decorations on him! And while he may look tough and maybe even a bit scary, he was a sweetheart. Simba here was such a well behaved, trained and gentle American Bully. I had a chat with his humans as this is the breed of dog my grandson has.

Next up…the parade!
