I had a great Haiku to go with this but cannot figure out where I put it and because I am feeling yucky from some creepy cootie that has laid me low…I’m not quite up to searching for it. When I took this photo it made me think that winter (pine tree) was holding fall (the leaf) in its hand. Since this picture was taken winds and rains have knocked off the majority of the pretty leaves. Today isn’t going to help any that may still be clinging either. The weather report says we may get just a bit of hurricane Sandy by way of rains and wind gusts up to 60mph; I hope we don’t lose power.
If you are on the east coast of the U.S. please take all necessary precautions and do take care if this storm is heading your way.

God be with all in this woman’s path… love the photo hope you find the Haiku
Thanks! Who knows where I put it 😦
Great shot, reminiscent of both seasons and so very apt. I cannot think of Fall without acknowledging in some respect, Winter’s approach. Hope you had a cootie shot so that this bout won’t be too bad. Feel better soon.
Hadn’t gotten to the cootie shot yet so…. 😦 I’m determined to fight this thing off tooth and nail. Thanks
Wow great photo of the merging of two seasons! Hope you are feeling better soon and be safe from the storm!!!
I’m hunkered down with my hot tea watching the wind go by. Thanks
Great shot! Stay in and keep out of Sandy’s way!
I’m inside and today we have wind and snow showers – ugh!
Stay Safe!!! And tuck up under some blankets, it’s the only way! I think I slept for two whole weeks when I got sick! It was the best!
Flannel jammies and blankies have been my besties lately…them and a nice hot cup of tea! Thanks
