Other than the fact that in winter it has got to be VERY cold here, this would be a dream. To live in a lovely home with the ocean as my back yard. Oh sure during the summer I’d have to deal with a bunch of tourists coming through for the beach (which in this case is the Singing Beach; more about it later) but I’d have my own private pathway leading to the beach and the sounds of the waves to lull me to sleep. I can dream…

The homes right along the beach had their own locked steps that let them walk right from their back yards to the beach. Oh yeah..good times. Until it snows but we won’t talk about that.
I grew up in a big old house on the beach in NZ,.. it was wonderful.. c
