In this instance it’s straight out of cell phone 🙂 I was sprung from the house yesterday after giving DH my best poor little me looks; he took me out for breakfast at a new place. I was thrilled to be out and back into the world even if by the time we returned home I had to put ice back on my foot. It was worth it to be out. Yesterday was a beautiful spring day and next to where we parked there were these gorgeous little flowers on a row of trees. I cautiously hobbled as close to one as I could without risking further injury (a crutch and decorative loose stone don’t play well together) whipped out the cell phone and here you go! It felt good to be out and taking photos again.
Anyone have any ideas what kind of tree this is?
It is lovely! You do well with a cell phone. Isn’t it nice to get out after being cooped up? I hope you’re up and around more soon. 🙂
Thank you. I hope to be up and around more soon too but don’t want to do a one step forward two steps back routine in the healing. Did I just make a pun? 😉
I think so but as long as it was a good one, it is allowed;)
Out and about feels good doesn’t it? Hooray for you! Love the photo but have no clue what kind of tree it is. 🙂
Thanks. Out and about did feel great but it took a bit out of me…one day at a time 😉
Well, it sounds like its a step in the right direction – yes, pun intended. 🙂
Rimshot! lol
Beautifully captured! Ugh, unfortunately I am clueless on plant and trees names 😦 good to hear that you enjoyed your day out! How is it with your toe? Hope it heals already..
I’ve got around 5 to 7 weeks before the bone completely heals but I will say almost all of the swelling is gone – almost 😉 Thank you.
Possibly a variety of mock orange? (It’d pretty likely be highly scented, if so.) Whatever it is, it’s mighty pretty, and you were very intrepid to get in there and go for its portrait! Hope for quicker-than-usual healing. 😀
xoxo
I’m hoping for at least heal enough to wear a sturdy real show now 🙂
Whatever tree it is … its beautiful… take it easy, stuffing up any progress in recovery will only make things worse…
Oh I’ve learned that lesson the hard way. Hope you’re improving rapidly too!
I won’t tell you to be careful or take it easy, Teri. I endured a Spring time recovery and how I longed to get outside, even for a few minutes. Bless your DH for helping you.
Now get back into bed, young lady!!! 🙂
I’m trying to take it easy and very thankful he took me out because I was going bonkers! It’s going o be rainy this week so staying in won’t be as “difficult” 🙂
