To decorate, to make cookies, to put up trees, to make and send cards, to wander into a toy store to try and find Groot, Baymax and whatever the heck the name of that doll was. I’m working on the design for this years Christmas cards and I actually found Groot and that doll; still don’t remember the name but was told it was the correct one. Thank goodness for text messages with attached photos! I’ve got all of the ingredients for the cookies set out and waiting for me to not eat so much cookie dough that the makes 4 dozen recipe turns into a bit less than that.
I missed the Charlie Brown Christmas Special but hope it’s on Netflix. Next is How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer (the original versions not the newfangled remakes) and for me to dig out that old VHS tape of the Claymation Christmas Special because I still think it is one of the best bits of holiday animation ever. Here’s a little sample in case you’ve never heard of it here. By the way, did you know that Rudolf is now 50? And as always it’s the time to give thanks for friends, for family and for the reason for the season.
Now off to eat some cookie dough – errrrrr I mean make some cookies 😉
