On the road again – Atlanta and The World of Coca-Cola

The last time we were in Atlanta it was to see the then amazing 7 year old – who is now an old man of 10.  The highlight of the trip (besides being with the little guy) was taking him to see the World of Coke.  If you are ever in Atlanta this is a must see; it doesn’t matter if you drink their soda pop or not it is just an amazing place to visit.  They show you how they bottle it, the history of Coca-Cola, a 3D movie, and you can get your picture taken with a very large and cuddly Coca-Cola polar bear – who is quite the ham.

Plus you get to drink many varieties of their products including some from around the world!  There are some really tasty ones and then there are some that just have to be an acquired taste!

  1. That looks realy fun. Any flavors that met your personal criteria for “Wish I Could Get It at Home” or “Never-Ever Again”?

  2. I love tours like this! Will definitely plan a visit if I visit Atlanta. Such great graphics on the bottles!

Never knew… now I do! Thank You!

Sounds like it would be a great way to spend a couple of hours, Teri. I’ve found bottling plants are always a great place to tour. OK … So my experience has only been breweries but I bet they’re all pretty much alike. 🙂

  5. That looks so neat! I would love to visit one day. I think there is a Coca-Cola factory of some sort near me, but I’ve never been there for a tour. I’ll have to keep this place in mind though if I ever make my way to Atlanta.
