A sale code for what? A code for the plug-in program that lets me create the photo art shown here on some beautiful orchids. As written on Topaz Labs webpage – “Simplify is on sale until February 28th for $19.99 (50% off). Use the coupon code febsimplify to obtain the discount on the product. Check out the Simplify product page to learn more about the program and download a free trial.” I call that a pretty good deal myself for a program that lets you get as artistic as you’d like with your photos. For more information here is a review I did on the Simplify program and one other example of what the program can do.
The effect I used in Simplify here is pastel II which I adjusted just a bit to bring back some of the details on the orchids. The differences between the before and after are rather subtle but that is what I was going for; you can make your photographic art reflect your tastes whatever they may be. It’s just that…simple.
Well done, Teri!
Thank you very much, Ted!
Sweet orchids! Love their color! 🙂 Yellow centered, as usual.
Is being yellow centered a usual? Inquiring minds want to know 🙂
This is awesome, I wish I have 1/4 of your photography skills!
Thank you 🙂
Aren’t “pansy” orchids beautiful? Their blossom sprays are are so vibrant.
Are they really called pansy orchids? You are the resident expert and all 😉
I recognize a few species, Teri, but certainly am no expert. “Pansy orchid” is their nickname. They are actually called Miltoniopsis — I had to google that name — and not to be confused with Miltonia. Here’s a link for them: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miltoniopsisl
You are STILL the orchid whisperer to me! Thanks so much 🙂
I love the variety of orchid flowers!
Just wonderfully amazing!
