Photo Safari at The Wilds – The Dhole Dog

The Dhole is a canid native to Central, South and Southeast Asia.  Other English names for the species include Asiatic wild dog, Indian wild dog, whistling dog, red dog, and mountain wolf. Wikipedia
These beautiful dogs are on the endangered list from having their natural habitat heavily deforested as well as being perceived as ‘livestock killers.’   The validity of the last descriptor I have no data on but they, like any pet canine, will jump up and down and run to grab bones tossed by a caretaker.
